Day 23 Tuesday 5th July

We had what we would describe as a quiet day around the caravan park, preparing for our trip up the Gibb River Road. We did some washing and packing and enjoyed a lovely swim in our resort's pool. We did feel a bit guilty because we had heard on the TV that it was only 13 degrees in Adelaide yesterday and that they had received the highest rainfall in one day since 1941. We were interested to see that it had snowed up at Mt Lofty too. Later in the afternoon, Heather and Paul went out on the lake in the kayaks and then Lyn and I went out and enjoyed watching the sunset.
