Day 12 Friday 24th June We left our busy camp site around 8.30am, leaving Heather and Paul behind. Originally, Heather and Paul thought they would go elsewhere rather than come into Darwin. Lyn and Steve were going to spend 5 nights in Darwin so they could catch up with Lyn's son and partner and their daughter (Lyn's grand daughter). We had wanted to go in to see Lyn's son too so Rob and I decided to stay for 3 nights. Lyn booked us in when we were in Alice Springs. Paul found out that there was a caravanning and camping show on in Darwin and decided that they would come for 3 nights too. Unfortunately by this time the park we were staying in was booked out. It didn't matter because they now at the beautiful Berry Springs not far from Darwin, tonight and we are very comfortable here in a lovely park in Darwin. It is officially warm to hot. We have packed away our beanies, ugg boots and jackets and after arriving at lunchtime, spent an hour in the swimming pool. Lyn and Steve went and met up with Stephen and Ursula (Lyn's son and grand daughter ) at a park where Ursula was attending a party. We joined them for a while and Ursula is staying the night with Lyn and Steve in the van. They've put their annex up so it should be fun for little Ursula to spend time with her &Nanny&.
